Corporate Social Responsibility

GIS has an internal belief that has been embedded within the DNA of the organization that supports local communities in the areas where we work, by providing internship, training programs and where allowable scholarships from contracts awarded.

GIS truly believes that CSR is not just a responsibility of companies, governments and/or nonprofit organization but the responsibility of each and every one of us to ensure a more sustainable approach.

As an organization we believe that we are a steward of society and therefore it is an expectation that each and every employee within the company is allocated 3 annual addition leaves a year to volunteer their time to a cause as an investment from the company. This enables GIS to further extend its cause through its employees and highly commends and rewards those that support local communities in which we work.

GIS believes in the 3 P’s – Planet, People and Profit.

Planet

Our contribution to a sustainable Environment in our workplaces has seen the complete elimination of plastic bottles from our offices opting for a centralized water filter dispenser enabling our teams to self-serve themselves as and when needed. We also believe in the 3 RRR’s – by ensuring that we Reduce our intake of items that cant be Re-used or Recycled and constantly pursue more sustainable products and services.

People

We believe that our people are not just employees but an extension of the company and are considered to be a family. The company’s growth has evolved from the passion, dedication and determination.

Profit

GIS each year provides a percentage of the profit towards Scholarships, training programs as well as supporting local communities.

As a company we also favor those companies that show a responsibility to this cause and support CSR Initiatives.
